Spurs said to be targeting 6′5″ midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Genk central midfielder Sander Berge.

Bleacher Report claim that the 20-year-old Norwegian international has been catching the eye of Tottenham scouts and could be available for around £15million.

Berge moved to the Belgian side during last January’s transfer window from Valerenga and signed a four-year deal.

The midfielder stands at an imposing 6’5″ and has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season for his club side.

This isn’t the first time that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been rumoured to be ready to make a move for the player who has been capped twelve times by his country, Norwegian news outlet But Dagbladet claimed back in August that Berges’ agent was in England ahead of the summer transfer window closing but a move failed to materialise.

There are increasing doubts that Mousa Dembele will be at the club next season, his current contract expires at the end of the campaign and has been the subject of apparent interest from China and the Middle East.
