Dan Kilpatrick has said that the possibility of Tottenham cashing in on Manor Solomon next summer cannot be ruled out.
While Solomon did show some glimpses of promise in his first few weeks of the season, he has not kicked a ball since injuring his meniscus at the start of October, with the winger suffering a setback during his recovery process last month.
The 24-year-old is now thought to be edging close to full fitness, with several outlets suggesting that he might be on the verge of returning to training (Football.London).
The Israeli international might have his work cut out to get back into Ange Postecoglou’s starting eleven, with the Australian now having plenty of options to choose from, particularly after the arrival of Timo Werner last month.
Meanwhile, various reports over recent days have suggested that the Lilywhites are prioritising signing a top-class winger in June, with Wolves Pedro Neto and Crystal Palace’s Ebereche Eze thought to be on their shortlist (Independent).

Manor Solomon could be sold on for a profit
Kilpatrick believes that if Tottenham do add reinforcement to their wide areas, Solomon might be the one who is sacrificed.
The journalist said on The Tottenham Way Podcast: “He (Solomon) was a free transfer. It was a clever or backhanded bit of business to get him from Shakhtar in those circumstances.
“Whatever Spurs sell him for, or if they were to sell him would be profit. It would make him a canny bit of business, and I don’t think that option can be ruled out if they sign a couple of wingers in the summer which is definitely a possibility.”
Spurs Web Opinion
I think many Spurs fans might be writing off Solomon too prematurely. Among the wingers currently at the club, he is arguably the most skilled at take-ons, which is why he could end up playing a key role when he is back to full fitness.
