Spurs set to offer Dele a new deal amid Madrid interest

Tottenham will offer midfielder Dele Alli, 21, his third new contract in the space of 16 months to stave off interest from Real Madrid.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Real Madrid are prepared break their £85.5million transfer record to sign the England international, that of course was the fee they paid us to take Gareth Bale to Spain. Dele’s stunning form this season has meant that the standard ‘link star Spurs player with Real Madrid move’ have reared their heads in the tabloids.

Dele last put pen to paper on a contract in September which is worth £55,000-a-week and runs until 2022, however the Tottenham hierarchy are now prepared to increase his wage to put him on par with the likes of Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris who earn around £110,000-a-week.

The new deal is said to extend the current contract by a further year until 2022, which would earn Dele £40million should he see the contract through.

Contract talks are also said to be planned for Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Son Heung-min who have all been impressive during the current campaign.

It looks like a Dele deal will mean… We’ve got Alli, Dele Alli….
