Tottenham Hotspur have announced the official signing of Serge Aurier from Paris-Saint Germain in a deal worth roughly £23 million.
The deal was expected to go through without any snags after the Ivorian received his permit to work in the UK from the home office yesterday, and now Spurs have taken to social media to announce the arrival.

The 24 year old has joined on a 5 year deal and will wear the number 24 on his shirt, as revealed on the Tottenham Hotspur official club website.
Speaking of the deal, the right-back defined his move to Tottenham as a ‘fresh start’ after off-field incidents tarnished his career in France during his time at PSG. He said:
“This is a huge and exciting opportunity at a massive football club and I am determined to prove myself as a professional both on and off the pitch.”
“This is a fresh start for me and I will do everything to make the Spurs fanbase, which is huge and diverse, proud of me.”
“The fans are the most important people at any club and I am looking forward to showing them and everyone at Spurs the real Serge Aurier.”
