Spurs snub £6million sponsorship deal?

White Hart Lane - Header

Reports are claiming that Tottenham Hotspur have turned down a £6million kit sponsorship offer from Dulux Paints.

With Tottenham securing a place in the Champions League qualifying round next season, it has been suggested that chairman Daniel Levy is looking for at least £10million.

In comparison, Liverpool’s shirt sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank is believed to be worth £20million a season for the next four years.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. I see that ManU got £20m per year for 4 years from AON but I can't beleive that anyone would pay the same for Liverpool, even a UK bank with does a lot of busines in Asia.

I think the Liverpool deal amount has been talked up.

  2. As said on another post if Levy turns down the deal then its not good enough for Spurs. Our new trading logo is 'never knowingly undersold'. Obviously a slow news day in Tabloid world

  3. Dulux !!! Please ! I'd say the colour of choice would be brilliant white. I think a sponsor of more distinction would be more preferrable. Come on Danny, Get your ass out of B&Q and make some warm calls :-)

  4. I seam to remember that Liverpool lost large amounts from their sponsers as they did not qualify for the champs league, which caused another big hole in their spending power. The scousers really are screwed.
Me i'm not laughing, much. !!!!!
