Dejan Kulusevski has insisted that Antonio Conte’s potential departure from Tottenham Hotspur will not affect his future at the North London club.
Reports over the last couple of days have indicated that the writing is on the wall for Conte, with Daniel Levy expected to sack the Italian by the end of this week (Telegraph).
Reports in the Italian press this week (Il Bianconero) have suggested that the uncertainty around Tottenham’s managerial situation could impact the club’s decision on whether to pay €35m (£30.9m) to snap up Kulusevski permanently in the summer.
CMW.iti also suggested a couple of days ago that a return to the Serie A could be on the cards for the Swede, with AC Milan said to be watching his situation closely.
However, Kulusevski has now declared that he will be at Tottenham next season, irrespective of what happens with Conte.
The 22-year-old told Sky Sports (as relayed by Fabrizio Romano): “Conte situation will not affect the club’s buy option for me — absolutely not. I want to stay at Spurs, of course.”

Whoever Tottenham’s next head coach is, I have no doubt that they would want Kulusevski as a part of their squad, even though the Swede has not been at his best over the last few months.
So, it will be a no-brainer for Spurs to activate the option to sign the winger permanently.
