Tottenham put in a near perfect performance against Fulham at Wembley on Saturday, securing the three points with a 3-1 win over their London counterparts.
Harry Kane’s first goal in August, Lucas Moura’s first Premier League goal in any month, and a fine freekick from Kieran Trippier on his first game back. The only blemish on Pochettino’s notebook will be the sloppily conceded goal.
Before the match, ex-player Graham Roberts had predicted an end to Kane’s curse, albeit through a hat trick, but he seemed happy enough with just the one.
Roberts also dished out hearty praise for Spurs’ newest recruit Lucas Moura, and impact sub Erik Lamela.
Nice start to the season loved @LucasMoura7 performance today worked so hard and great goal also @ErikLamela superb when came on and the man @HKane got us his August goal another 50 goals to come this season ?? COYS

Club legend Ossie Ardiles was thrilled with Tottenham’s best start to a Premier League campaign in three years but believes that some players are still recovering.
2 games 6 points. Brilliant. Some of our players still recovering from WC duties. Was with MP and it is great to see him and his “kitchen cabinet” so positive and confident. COYS
