Spurs star reveals plan for the Champions League against Man City

Tottenham will take on Manchester City thrice in 10 days in April and the results of those games are likely to have a huge bearing on both clubs’ seasons.

Spurs will first play City in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals at the New Stadium on the 10th of April before making two trips to the Etihad, to face them in the Premier League and then the second leg of the quarterfinals.

It is one of the toughest draws Spurs could have gotten given the teams remaining in the competition, with some Spurs fan quite pessimistic about the team’ chances of progressing into the semifinals.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has now spoken about the draw and insisted that it will be a great test to face City in Europe.

While he admitted that Guardiola’s team are one of the best teams in Europe, he said that the players believe they can progress to the semifinals.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Kane said, “They’re going to be two great games. Manchester City are obviously one of the best teams in Europe at the moment so it will be a great test for us.

“In the quarter-finals of the Champions League you have to expect to play tough teams though, so we will be ready for it.

“We have to believe in our ability. It will be tough but it’s a chance to get to a Champions League semi-final so we will give it everything.”
