Spurs star says win at Barca would be one of the greatest Tottenham achievements

Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has told Sky Sports that a win away to Barcelona would rank right up there in this current Spurs side’s greatest achievements.

Spurs head into the Champions League tie probably needing a win to secure a spot in the knockout rounds of this season’s competition.

Tottenham need to match anything Inter Milan do, but with the Italians up against bottom of the group PSV on their home turf, a win is likely required.

Barcelona have already qualified top of the group, so it remains to be seen whether they play a weakened side or not. Such is the confidence after the win against Leicester, I have used this link to back Spurs for a draw at the Nou Camp.

Spurs will be hoping to see the back of Lionel Messi after he tore them apart at Wembley earlier this season.

Tottenham come into the game in good form, winning their last two Premier League games, and are now enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League season.

Pochettino was even able to rest the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, and Danny Rose for this huge European tie.

Dele told SkySports: “It would definitely be up there. They are one of the best teams in the world, they’ve got some great players and as a kid you dream about playing at the Nou Camp and we’re going to go there and give it our best shot.

“I’ve had a bit of a cold but it’s not too bad, a cold won’t keep me out. We’re ready.

“It’s going to be another difficult game but they’re the games you want to be a part of, playing one of the best teams in the world and some of the world’s greatest players.

“You want to be challenging yourself and we’re going there with the mentality that we can win and we have to believe.

“It’s going to be difficult but we have to go there and give it our best.”
