Tottenham winget Gareth Bale believes that he can take his game to another level.
Speaking as he received the Wales Footballer of the Year award at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff last night, the 22-year-old is gaining confidence.
He said: “It’s always nice to win an award, especially when you look at the names who have previously won this award, it’s great to be among them.
“I want to play as well as I can every game at club or international level and always give 100 per cent. It is good to get awards but as a team the most important thing is we have stayed together and we have progressed.
“I am getting a bit older and I am getting a bit more confident in my game, I am learning and I want to take it to the next level, hopefully there is more to come.”
