Spurs starlet spotted with bandage on his face after clash in training

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has picked up a facial injury while training.

The central defender collided with a team mate during a training session with Argentina and is stil expected to be named in their squad for tonight’s match against Mexico.

Foyth is yet to make his full international debut despite being named among the substitutes for the recent 4-0 friendly win against Iraq.

The 20-year-old was photographed with some medical bandage under his right cheekbone as he waited with the rest of his team mates to board the team bus.

He made his Premier League debut for Spurs in the recent 3-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers and hit the headlines for giving away two late penalties in the match.

An injury to Davinson Sanchez saw him partner Toby Alderweireld for the trip to Crystal Palace in our last match and proved to be the match winner with a second half header.

With Jan Vertonghen and Sanchez both sidelined with respective hamstring injuries, Foyth could be set to get an extended run in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
