Spurs striker wins award

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has won the British GQ’s sportsman of the year.

The award was given out on Wednesday night, and the Tottenham and England man tweeted out his pride.

Kane enjoyed a brilliant year for club and country, scoring over 30 goals in the Premier League, as well as winning the golden boot at the Russia World Cup.

He also captained his country to a semi-final in this competition, their best finish in over two decades.

Kane has now improved on his goal tally season to season for five consecutive years at Spurs.

He also beat Alan Shearer’s goal scoring record of the most scored in a calendar year last season, also scoring more in 2017 than any other player in the top 5 European leagues.

It’s been one hell of a year for the Tottenham man, and he will be looking to improve in 2018/19.

Should Kane be aiming for a Ballon D’or?
