Spurs in talks for Brazilian winger

The Mirror says we have opened talks to sign Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian winger had been linked with a move to Manchester United this month, however the article says Jose Mournho’s side are now on the brink of completing a surprise deal for Arsenals Alexis Sanchez, however PSG are looking to sell Lucas this month and the player has already rejected the chance to join the Chinese Super League.

The article says that according to French publication L’Equipe, Spurs are now in talks with the Ligue 1 leaders over a potential deal for the 25-year-old.

It says that Daniel Levy wants Lucas to join on a loan deal but PSG are only interested in selling the player with Lucas’ asking price said to be €40 million (£35m), however Spurs will be aiming for a significantly cheaper deal for a player whose contract expires next year. Lucas has been on the fringes of PSG’s side this season and has played just 72 minutes of football in Ligue 1 so far.
