Spurs target Lucas Moura as been advised to find himself ‘another club’ by Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery.

The 25-year-old has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League with Spurs and Manchester United said to be monitoring the Brazilian.

The article says how he has rarely featured for PSG this season, indeed making just a total of six appearances thus far this season and manager Emery says that he deserves more playing time.

“I spoke with Lucas. With all respect towards him, but I think that he has no other options here and should look for another club, because he’s a great player,” said Emery, according to Spanish publication Marca.

The article ads that with Manchester United having of course just secured the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, but we too have a wealth of attacking midfield options at our disposal.

It adds however that Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that the club is ‘open to quality’ in the market. After Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Southampton, Pochettino said: “We are open to quality players but you know very well it is difficult in this transfer window.”

He added: “It is not easy to add a player who can help for three months. It is very difficult. For some clubs it is easier but it is not easy for us.”

  1. How hard can it be, Lucas Moura has been told by PSG to find himself a new club, £35m in todays market is nothing, we took £50m for Walker a full back, Liverpool paid £75m for Van Dijk, makes £35m for Moura look cheap. Seems to me Levy is never happy.
