  1. Err. lillywhitetilidie – whilst I agree that this report is probably a load a rubbish, I disagree in the assumption that Altintop is not a major player – he is a proven versatile international player playing for a high profile club. Certainly higher in calibre than Dzeko. He was runner up in the Champions League – this is exactly what we are aspiring to.

  2. Where did this load of rubbish come from? Is this the type of player that we’re aspiring to? Mind you it is silly transfer window time again. Never mind this player why aren’t we seriously taking a closer look at the centre back situation and jump in with a punt for Simon Kjaer? Lillywhitetilidie.

  3. Points:

1)Must be good as they let his contract run down.

2)Must be good if they only extended his contract by a year.

3)Must be good if he is so attached to the club; only for them to offer him one year extention.

4)If he was any good Levy would have been over signed him until 2023, and we would have known about it 2 years ago and be lending him back to Bayern for next season. He He!

5)Am I really bothered about the fact we have not signed a two bit turk that few have heard of outside of the Bundesleague………NO not at all!

  4. Altintop is a very versatile and top quality player, one of the best right attackong full backs in the world, so it is a great shame that we missed out on him til at least next year.

    • Altintop, full back?

Isn´t he more of a attacking midfielder or forward than a full back and his goal ratio 5 goals in 49 games just isn´t good enough.
