Harry Redknapp has admitted that Rafael van der Vaart and Luka Modric are both doubts for Tottenham’s visit of Wolves.
Van der Vaart picked up a sore calf muscle in the 2-2 draw at Werder Bremen and trained separately with the fitness coaches on Thursday.
Modric has not played since injuring his leg in the game at West Brom and Redknapp told the press earlier today that the Croatian is still struggling.
“Rafa’s calf is still a little sore,” Redknapp told the club’s official site. “We’ll have a look at him this morning (Friday) but I don’t want to risk him breaking down.
“He has a sore calf and you don’t want that to turn into a strain or pull. We have to be careful and we don’t want to chance him.”
