Spurs to be offered West Ham loanee as Dembele sweetner

According to talkSPORT Inter Milan will offer West Ham loanee Joao Mario to Tottenham this summer as they bid to lure Mousa Dembele to the San Siro.

The Portugal international has expressed his desire to leave Inter during the current transfer window and West Ham were initially favourites to turn their loan deal for the midfielder into a permanent one.

He impressed during the second half of last season at the London Stadium and the Noe the Hammers are currently exploring a possible permanent switch.

But how according to Italian publication Tuttosport, West Ham could be dealt a severe blow in their pursuit of Mario with Inter ready to offer him to Tottenham as part of a deal for Dembele.

The Italians are very keen on a deal for the Belgian midfielder and now believe by offering Mario as part of the negotiations will only enhance their chances of snapping Dembele up.

However the article goes on to say Spurs have not given any indication of being interested in signing Mario but with Inter’s interest in Dembele showing no sign of letting up, the news could serve as a massive blow to West Ham’s chances of landing the Portuguese midfielder.
