Reports on Twitter suggest that Tottenham will know whether they are allowed to play their third round Carabao Cup match at Stadium MK by Thursday this week.
Tottenham found themselves homeless once more for the tie as Wembley is already being used that weekend, and Spurs’ new stadium delays continue.
Spurs applied to play the match at the home of MK Dons after they were drawn out of the pot first when tied against Watford for the clash.
Tottenham will be looking to get revenge on the Hornets after Javi Gracia’s side took away Spurs’ unbeaten record for this season.
Watford are unhappy at the prospect of playing at a neutral venue and believe that the tie should instead be reversed and played at Vicarage Road.
