Spurs are apparently lining up a big money big for Aston Villa’s Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Harry Redknapp is believed to be a big fan of the 23-year-old and is reported to want to use a sizeable chunk of his budget to bring the pacy frontman to White Hart Lane.
Agbonlahor recorded a personal best haul in the Premier League last season of 14 goals and Redknapp has identified him as the man to boost Tottenham’s strike force.
A figure of £22million has been been mooted by the Daily Express, although this could be reduced by offering Robbie Keane as a potential makeweight in the deal.
Keane has been tracked by Villa for some time, with the Irishman supposedly set for talks with Martin O’Neill in the near future.
Should a bid for Agbonlahor fail, Spurs are also reportedly keen on Porto hot-shot, Falcao.
The Columbian has set the Portuguese league alight with some sizzling displays, whilst also impressing in the Champions League.
With Porto failing to win the title, he could be willing to move and a fee of £15million would tempt the club to sell.
