Tottenham Hotspur have missed out on signing Spanish international Santi Cazorla.
The Villarreal midfielder has joined La Liga rivals Malaga in a 21 million Euro deal and has penned a five-year contract.
Spurs were said to have enquired about Cazorla, who was also linked with Arsenal but decided to link up with former Villarreal boss Manuel Pellegrini once again.
