Luis Suarez is determined to stay and fight for his place at Barcelona should Antoine Griezmann despite alleged interest in England

The Daily Star say Atletico Madrid’s star forward has been strongly linked with a move to the the Nou Camp and while Manchester United are also said to be interested Barcelona have put the wheels in motion.

The article adds that Atletico have reported Barcelona to FIFA over an alleged illegal approach, however it does say a switch could still materialise. If the France international is bought, it believes Suarez faces being displaced in the team.

The article says that we are looking to take advantage of the 30-year-old’s situation, and Spanish news outlet Don Balon claim Tottenham have made contact with Barcelona over a transfer.

The article says Spurs have made it known they would like to sign the former Liverpool goalscorer with the club aware of the difficulty they face in keeping Harry Kane beyond next summer.

As a result, Mauricio Pochettino is targeting Suarez as a replacement due to his knowledge of the Premier League.

However, Don Balon adds the Uruguay international is not seriously considering Tottenham’s proposal.

So the question is, would you have a Suarez? I doubt Kane will leave, but would Suarez be a welcome addition? Let us know your thoughts

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. This is such nonsense I don't know where to start. You are taking reports from Don Balon, which is to journalism what haddock is to particle physics. Would Spurs want a 30 year-old with plenty of previous? No, of course not. Would Spurs let Kane go? No, of course not.

  2. Let's start with your opening sentence

"Luis Suarez is determined to stay and fight for his place at Barcelona should Antoine Griezmann despite alleged interest in England"

And the bad thing is, that's the best part of this whole sorry piece of click bait trash masquerading as an article.

  3. I'm sure he'd come and join us for £110K a week. Waste of time writing such nonsense. Nobody else would be interested in him either of course.

  4. Yes, complete horse manure. Sorry. Forgive me; horse manure is quite useful in the garden, apparently. Allegedly, the roses love it.

Stop feeding us complete s**t articles.

  5. Think harry will stay as long as the team progress and start to win things and as long as mr levy keeps bringing in quality players that improve the team ? If that doesn’t happen then I think he’ll go abroad as all players want is something to show for their time in the game when it’s over
