Line Up: Spurs v Brentford – Maddison starts

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has named his side which will take to the field in this evening’s Premier League fixture against Brentford.

Spurs return to action at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looking to put the disappointment of the FA Cup fourth round exit at the hands of Manchester City behind them.

Postecoglou‘s side now must focus back on the job at hand to secure a finish in the top four in the Premier League table and a victory against Brentford would help them to keep in the mix along with the likes of Aston Villa.

The lack of creativity and the inability to play the correct final pass was a bone of frustration for many Spurs fans watching on Friday, however, it has to be reminded that facing City is never an easy task – especially with the likes of Heung-min Son, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr still missing.
