Spurs Web score prediction for Tottenham vs Ajax in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax face off in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the new Spurs stadium tonight.

Both clubs have been somewhat of surprise packages in the competition this season, upsetting the odds to reach the final four.

Spurs have never made it this far in the competition, but will not be content with that particular piece of history when the final is within their grasp.

Tottenham have knocked out both the then German League leaders, Borussia Dortmund, and the then Premier League leaders, Man City, in their route to the semi-final.

Ajax have stunned football fans by sending home the reigning Champions, Real Madrid, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus in their own knockout journey.

We believe that it will be a similarly cagey game to the Man City affair at the new stadium earlier this month, with Tottenham dominating possession at home.

We are also backing Spurs to replicate the scoreline of that night, taking a 1-0 advantage to Ajax in May. The goal will come from Lucas Moura.
