I believe that Tottenham will be able to put the League Cup exit firmly behind them this weekend with a win over Southampton.
In my opinion, Tottenham’s first-team form has been better than the results have shown of late. I think they deserved to win against Leicester, with that VAR call being extremely harsh.
Spurs also threw away 2-0 leads against Arsenal and Olympiacos, two games they would have won on another day. The defending was poor, but there were positives to take from each match.
Tottenham also dismantled Crystal Palace in one half of football at home, a throw-back to the performances seen at White Hart Lane back in the 2016-17 season.
I believe Spurs will find this kind of form again on Saturday at home, if the crowd can get behind the lads.
I am predicting a 3-0 win, with Harry Kane to score two and Heung Min Son to add a third.
