Tottenham Hotspur have now completed the first month of their new Premier League campaign, with August in the rear-view mirror.
However, we at Spurs Web thought we would take a look back and decide on who the player of the month for Tottenham was and who scored the best goal.
In terms of player of the month, it proves to be quite tricky this time around. Few of the Spurs lads consistently started and played well over the first three games of this season.
On this occasion, I am going to go for Tanguy Ndombele for a few reasons. He was coming into a new team, a new country, and a new league, but still proved to be the difference against Villa.
He was then a large part of the defensive effort that earned a point away to Man City, before missing the Newcastle game, but the less said about that the better.
In terms of the goal of the month, I have to go for Lucas Moura. While Ndombele’s goal against Man City was technically better, the fact that Moura scored within seconds to equalise away to the champions just takes it for me.
