Spurs will pull off at least one signing before window shuts, believes Harry Redknapp

Tottenham Hotspur remains one of just two Premier League clubs not to have brought any players in during this summer’s transfer window.

However, former manager Harry Redknapp strongly believes that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will pull off at least one summer signing before the window slams shut.

Redknapp told Talksport:

“But he pulls off great deals, and I’m sure he’ll have one or two rabbits in the hat he’s waiting to pull out at the last minute.”

“Daniel tends to move at the very last minute; he’ll have a two-for-one deal, a buy-one-get-one-free or something,” the veteran manager added.

Having worked under Levy for four years, Redknapp will be well aware of the typical ‘last-minute’ dealings from the Spurs chairman.

The Lilywhites have been linked with numerous targets throughout the summer break but the price tag has always seemed to be the stumbling block.

Aston Villa midfielder, Jack Grealish has seemed to be on the cusp of signing a deal with the north London club for months now but Spurs have failed so far to get the deal over the line.

Whether Levy is holding out for the right player or the right deal remains to be seen. However, the Tottenham faithful are far from impressed.

Spurs are now the only side in the top-six who have not added to their squad. Spurs fans, can you see any player(s) coming in before Thursday 9 August?
