Spurs will reportedly have to pay £22.5million to sign player from Real Madrid

Real Madrid are demanding a transfer fee of €25 million (£22.59 million) in order to part company with Sergio Reguilon.

The 23-year-old has impressed during his season-long loan at Sevilla where he has helped the side to reach the last four of the Europa League but has been made available by Spanish giants with the club looking to raise transfer funds ahead of next season.

Reguilon is keen to make an impression at Real, but manager Zinedine Zidane reportedly does not consider him to be part of his first-team plans going forward (AS).

ABC Sevilla have previously claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham have made enquiries about the player along with Borussia Dortmund and Paris St Germain.

Tottenham have Ben Davies as the club’s current first choice left-back while there is still uncertainty over the future of Danny Rose. Ryan Sessegnon has also operated on the left side of the defence at times.
