Spurs winger features in friendly game against West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Jack Clarke was involved in a friendly against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Wednesday as he looks to regain his match fitness in time for Queens Park Rangers’ final nine games of the Championship season.

The 19-year-old only managed one start since arriving at Loftus Road in January, before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic (transfermarkt.com).

He will be hoping to get more games under his belt when Rangers return to action which begins with the clash against Barnsley on June 20.

The Hoops still have a lot to play for as they find themselves just six points off a playoff spot.

Mark Warburton’s side faced off against West Ham in a warm-up game on Wednesday, and Clarke was one of those who was pictured in action.

Although it has been claimed that the Hammers ran out 4-1 winners, there has been no official confirmation on the result or how many minutes Clarke played (QPR official).

Spurs Web Opinion

Clarke has had an extremely disappointing campaign and his development has no doubt stalled after the promise he showed last campaign. Let’s hope he can get some games under his belt for QPR before the end of the season and come into pre-season with some confidence.
