Spurs youngster wins player of the month award and reacts on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kazaiah Sterling recently went out on loan to Sunderland in League One in search of regular first team football.

This came just after the striker made his first team debut for Spurs in the FA Cup against Crystal Palace.

He also made the briefest of appearances against APOEL in the Champions League last season, but he is clearly in Pochettino’s plans moving forward at Spurs.

Asif it hadn’t been a good enough month for him already, Kaz has now been named as the Premier League 2 player of the month.

This comes after several outstanding performances in Tottenham’s reserve team.

With Pochettino always on the lookout for a willing back up man to Harry Kane, perhaps Sterling could represent an option for the future in this position.

Sterling took to Twitter to celebrate the award.

Hopefully he can now kick on and have a great second half of the season with Sunderland.
