Tottenham today announced it has been agreed with UEFA for the first home group stage game to be played at Wembley.
The first home match in the 2018/19 Champions League will take place on either the week commencing 17 September or 1 October.
The Club also added, should we be drawn at home for the Round Three tie of the Carabao Cup on the week commencing 24 September the Club will apply to play the game at either a neutral ground or reverse the fixture as Wembley is unavailable on that week.
It was earlier announced the Premier league ties against Liverpool on 15 September and Cardiff City 6 October will both take place at Wembley following health and safety issues meaning the new stadium will not be ready to open for the planned opening date.
