Staggering stats prove what an amazing job Poch has done

Mauricio Pochettino has bene in charge of Tottenham Hotspur for over four years now, and has pioneered vast improvements in his Spurs side.

Tottenham are now Champions League regulars and have finished in the top three in the Premier League for three seasons in a row.

They have also gone toe to toe with the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus in Europe’s biggest competition.

The Sun have now published stats that reveal exactly how impressive Pochettino’s work in North London has been.

Tottenham became the first ever Premier League club not to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window this year.

Pochettino and Levy decided against buying for the sake of buying once they missed out on their wish list signings.

Since taking over in 2014, Pochettino has a net spend of only £29m, compared to the figures of the rest of the top six.

Manchester City lead the way with a net spend of £518m, with United (£466m), Arsenal (£225m), Chelsea (£200m), and Liverpool (£183m) way ahead in terms of spending cash.

However, only Manchester City and Chelsea have accumulated more points than Spurs in this time, showing the level of form they have maintained without spending huge sums of money.

Spurs fans will be praying for some fresh faces in January as the Tottenham team is in need of a boost after a disappointing week.

A draw to PSV was followed up by a 1-0 loss to Man City last night.
