“Start Janssen ffs” – Some Spurs fans question Poch’s decision to name strong side against Everton

Sours take on Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium today in what will be their final Premier League game of the season.

The game is of much less significance than it initially looked like being as Spurs have sealed a top 4 finish apart from a miracle.

In order for Tottenham to be dislodged from the 4th spot, Arsenal need to make up a three-point deficit in terms of points and 8 goals deficit in terms of goal difference.

Meanwhile, Spurs can secure third if they beat Everton and Chelsea slip up away at Leicester.

Given the fact that this game is of little significance, and that Spurs have several injuries to contend with after Wednesday, it was assumed that Pochettino would name a weaker side and rest several important players for the Champions League final.

However, Pochettino has decided to name a strong line up for the match.

The Argentine’s decision to play such a strong team had some Spurs fans worried that one or two key players might get injured before the final.

Here’s how some fans reacted to the team news:

Pochettino probably felt that the three-week break that the players will have ahead of the final will give them plenty of time to recover and so, has called on his players to put in one last big push today.

It is important that Tottenham go into the final on a winning note, and so the Spurs manager is probably hoping that the attack-minded line up that he has named will get early goals and put the game to bed.
