Stat – Since making his debut Eriksen leads the way in these three Prem stats

One of the biggest bargains in recent Premier League history has to be the acquisition of a young Christian Eriksen by Tottenham.

Spurs scooped up the attacking midfielder from Ajax back in 2013 for a fee of just £11.5m (BBC).

He was an instant success in a Tottenham shirt, and has since gone on to become one of the very best in his position in world football.

If you compare what Spurs bought him for to what he is worth now, you can see just what a bargain the midfield maestro is.

That £11.5m could easily turn into between £100m and £200m, if Spurs wanted to sell up.

Since making his Premier League debut, Eriksen leads the way in three important stats that show his sheer class in both creating and scoring goals.

Since the debut in 2013, he has assisted more goals than anyone else (55), he has created more chances than any other play (501), and has scored more goals from outside the box than anyone else (18).

What a player!
