Steve McManaman makes confident declaration about Kane and Real Madrid

There is no doubt that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is among the best strikers in world football.

Tottenham’s No.10 has proven over the last five years or so that he can perform consistently at the top level.

The England captain apart from his outstanding goalscoring record, also has the first touch, technique and passing range to rival the best midfielders in the world.

So, it is only natural that the 25-year-old has been linked with the biggest clubs in world football including Real Madrid.

Former Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman has been speaking to the Spanish press about the Tottenham star, and said that he felt Kane would be a success at Madrid.

However, the 47-year-old said he didn’t think the striker would swap North London for the Spanish capital at the moment.

Speaking to Spanish publication La Galerna, McManaman said, “He (Kane) would succeed (at Madrid). But I do not see him leaving the Tottenham. I am totally sincere about that.”

The former Liverpool man also said that Bale has had a successful career at Madrid even though he has come in for a lot of criticism this season.

Speaking about the Welshman, McManaman added, “He has been a success in Madrid. I do not know how it is with the public or with the press.

“He has been there for five years, this is the sixth, and I know that he is very happy and wants to stay there.”
