Steven Bergwijn reveals who he finds it toughest to play against in Spurs training

Tottenham’s January signing, Steven Bergwijn, participated in a social media Q and A on Thursday in which the winger answered several questions from the fans.

Among the questions that were posed to the 22-year-old, one supported asked what his favourite thing about playing Spurs was. Bergwijn revealed that it was playing in front of the home fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The winger certainly announced himself spectacularly at the ground as he scored a superb volley on his home debut in a 2-0 win against Manchester City in February. When asked to sum up his feeling after the goal, he revealed that it was like a dream come true.

The winger was also asked which player he fought it toughest to play against in training, to which he answered Serge Aurier, claiming that he comes up against the Ivorian most often.

Spurs Web Opinion

Although Bergwijn has had a decent start to his Spurs career, I don’t think we’ve seen the best of him yet as he has been forced to play further forward due to the injury to Harry Kane. The prospect of a Kane-Bergwijn-Son-Dele font four is certainly mouthwatering.
