‘Still got no bottle’ – Jamie Vardy mocks Tottenham fans on stage in front of thousands

The Daily Express have revealed that Jamie Vardy mocked Tottenham during a surprise appearance at BBC Radio 2’s In The Park festival over the weekend.

The report reveals that Vardy made a surprise on-stage appearance at BBC Radio 2’s two-day In The Park festival, which was held at Victoria Park in Leicester, less than 48 hours after finding the back of the net for the Foxes in their 4-1 win over Southampton.

Jamie Vardy takes the chance to mock Tottenham

The England international was greeted by loud cheers when he got on to the stage and he allegedly grabbed a microphone and asked if there were any Spurs supporters in the crowd.

The Express reveal that the question was greeted with jeers from the crowd, with no one identifying as a Spurs supporter. After a pause, Vardy is then said to have aimed a dig at the North London club and their fans by quipping: ‘Still got no bottle’.

The striker’s snarky remark went down very well with the crowd that had assembled at Victoria Park, which was presumably dominated by Leicester fans. Perhaps it will not have gone down as well with his old buddy, James Maddison.

I am all for taking banter in the spirit it was intended but it is a little weird that Leicester fans and their players hate Tottenham as much as they do when we do not care about them at all.
