‘Stop stirring things up’ – Spurs legend blasts Sky Sports over their Kane coverage

Graham Roberts has accused Sky Sports of needlessly stirring up speculation regarding Harry Kane’s future when there is very little of substance to report.

Over the years, Spurs fans have got used to the constant speculation surrounding Kane’s future.

Predictably, the transfer rumours about the striker have gone into hyperdrive following Tottenham’s elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb.

When asked about his future, the England captain said last week that he is fully focused on finishing the season strongly for Spurs and performing well at the Euros, insisting that he will only make a decision after the summer tournament.

Needless to say, multiple outlets have had a field day after the Tottenham man’s statement, taking it as confirmation that he wants out of the North London club.

When Sky Sports yet again posted the question about Kane leaving Spurs on their social media platform, Roberts blasted the outlet and questioned which club is going to be in a position to afford the 27-year-old.

Sky Sports seem to pose the question about Kane’s future on social media multiple times every week as they know it will get traction. Spurs fans will be better served by not getting baited into commenting or quote tweeting on their post and unfollowing the handles instead.
