Carlos Tevez, who has recently been linked with a move to Tottenham, was welcomed as a special guest by West Ham for their clash against Burnley on Sunday.
Corriere dello Sport (09/04/22 as relayed by The Sun) revealed last week that Tevez was set to visit Tottenham’s training ground to explore a potential shock return to the Premier League.
The Argentine has not played competitively since parting ways with Boca Juniors last year but he is yet to officially announce his retirement from football.
It was suggested that the striker could now be set for a shock return to Europe, with the 38-year-old also said to have visited the headquarters of Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan recently.
Tevez was in London over the weekend but it was not at Hotspur Way the striker was spotted at but rather the London Stadium.
The forward, who helped West Ham pull off a miraculous escape from relegation in the 2006/07 season before moving to Man Utd, visited his old club to watch them play out a 1-1 draw against Burnley.
The Hammers posted a video before kick-off showing Tevez arriving at the London Stadium.

Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think Spurs would consider signing a 38-year-old who has not played any football for the past 12 months. Tevez has connections with Conte from their time together at Juve and if the Argentine did visit Hotspur Way, it was likely just to touch base with the Spurs boss and maybe even explore a career in coaching.
