Tottenham’s new kit for the 2021/22 season tops the list of the most expensive Premier League kits, a study by 888 Sport has found.

Football kits are getting more expensive every year and Spurs fans will certainly not be happy following the research which finds they pay the highest price in the Premier League for their new kits.

The study broke down the price difference between what various clubs across Europe are charging the fans for their new kits for next season.

Barcelona came out on top and surprisingly they were joined by Serie A side Cagliari, with both clubs having the highest priced kits at £81.46.

They are followed by the likes of Real Madrid, Rennes and Marseille who have priced it at £77.35, while Inter Milan, Roma and Bordeaux came third by just a fraction.

However, as far as Premier League kits are concerned, Spurs have the most expensive standard kit in the country at £70, with London rivals Chelsea a close second at £69.95.

In comparison, Burnely, who have the cheapest jersey in the Premier League, charge their fans just £45.

Part of the reason some Spurs fans are especially upset with how far backwards we have fallen over the past couple of years is due to the fact that the club charges among the highest ticket prices in the country. The club cannot keep fleecing the fans if the football on the pitch is not on par with the best in the country.
