Tottenham Hotspur right-back, Serge Aurier, isn’t always the most popular player among the Tottenham faithful.
In my opinion, the ex-PSG man does not have the defensive head needed to play in the Premier League and often dives into challenges without thinking.
Talking of making rash decisions without a moment’s thought towards the consequences, Aurier managed to pick up yet another injury on international duty this week.
The Ivory Coast star was on the bench for his team recovering from a hamstring injury during their round of 16 clash against Mali.
However, despite his country winning the game, Aurier was less than pleased with the performances of his teammates, something that caused him to last out in anger (Reuters).
Aurier revealed that he hit a table, causing a wrist injury in the process, although it is not thought to be serious.
Some Spurs fans have reacted to this news on Twitter, and many are not surprised.
