Sunderland keen to keep Hutton

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admits that he would be keen to sign Alan Hutton on a permanent deal.

The Scottish full-back moved to the Stadium of Light on loan from Tottenham in January.

“I have not yet had any conversation with Harry Redknapp to see if he will be available,” said Bruce.

“But if he was available in the summer, of course, I would be interested.

“He has done particularly well for us and has slipped into the team very nicely.”

  1. shame if harry lets him go as he adds that bit of grit you need to win games we normally lose to, harry needs to add that to the mid field as they seem to go missing when being put under pressure and i would be more confident that we could finish fourth if we had some one like scot parker in the side to help us out.And who can tackle and pass, not sure harry has it quite right but thats been our problem for quite a few seasons and its not the fault of the board who atleast have put their money were there mouths are .
