Supercomputer predicts dramatic climb up Premier League table for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur have had a nightmare start to the season so far when it comes to the Premier League, after finishing in the top four last campaign.

Spurs have qualified for the Champions League for the past four seasons in a row, but they look up against it to make it five this year.

While the likes of Chelsea and Leicester have been surprise packages in the top four race, what has been equally surprising is Tottenham’s inability to pick up a result.

They have won just three games out of 12 in the Premier League so far this season, drawing five and losing four.

This puts Tottenham down on 14 points and in 14th position in the table, about ten places further down that they would want to be.

However, the supercomputer from FiveThirtyEight has now predicted that Tottenham will climb their way back up to fifth by the end of the season, which would be a good effort from where they are now.

They believe the table will finish as follows:

Liverpool – 93 points

Man City – 87 points

Chelsea – 75 points

Leicester – 69 points

Tottenham – 58 points

Man United – 57 points

Arsenal – 56 points
