A supercomputer has predicted that Tottenham will miss out on the Premier League top four this season.
Spurs currently sit eighth in the table, in touching distance of Manchester United who occupy the coveted final Champions League place.
However, between Antonio Conte’s side and Man United lie West Ham, Arsenal and Wolves who have all mounted their own respective pushes to reach Europe’s elite competition.
Although Tottenham are not far off, Betting Expert’s supercomputer (via The Sun) expects them to end up falling short of returning to club football’s pinnacle competition.
It predicts that Spurs will end the campaign in sixth-place behind Man Utd and will have to endure bitter rivals Arsenal claiming fourth.
West Ham will secure a Europa Conference League spot in seventh, while Wolves are predicted to lag just behind in eighth.
The computer expects Manchester City to secure their sixth Premier League title, while each of Burnley, Watford and Norwich will suffer relegation to the Championship.

As much as statistics are starting to govern football more and more each season, it is very hard to predict how a season will end because the sport is so unpredictable.
The top four race has also been very volatile this term and it will continue to change as the season progresses.
