Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League return has seen a mix of solid results and frustrating performances, but a recent supercomputer has predicted just how far Frank’s side would go.
Tottenham Hotspur’s return to Europe’s premier competition has been mixed, with Thomas Frank’s side securing one victory and two draws.
As such, Spurs remain unbeaten and are still within touch of the automatic qualification places, with a single point separating them from eighth-placed Newcastle United.
However, with Tottenham, it is the overall play that has left fans desperate, as both Bodo/Glimt and AS Monaco have outplayed Frank’s side.
A supercomputer has now predicted where Tottenham would finish in the league phase of the Champions League and just how far they would go in the competition.

Supercomputer predicts Tottenham Champions League finish
According to predictions from a supercomputer from Betting Lounge, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to miss out on automatic qualification to the round of 16 on goal difference.
The AI has forecasted Spurs to finish in 11th place in the Champions League table, picking up 14 points in total.
While Tottenham are yet to lose in their first three games, the supercomputer expects Frank’s men to suffer two defeats, grab two draws and win four of their eight games.
Spurs tipped for Champions League play-off drama
With Tottenham not securing automatic qualification, the play-off round is the only route to the round of 16.
The supercomputer, however, has forecast that Spurs will beat Athletic Bilbao 6-4 on aggregate and book a place in the round of 16.
However, it is expected Spurs’ run would end there, with Real Madrid knocking Frank’s men out through penalties in the round of 16.
Barcelona are predicted to win the entire competition outright, with bitter rivals Arsenal making the final before losing to Hansi Flick’s men 1-0.
