Tottenham Hotspur fans will not be too encouraged by the chances that Opta’s Supercomputer has given the Lilywhites of emerging with a win from the Amex Stadium on Sunday.
On paper, Tottenham Hotspur have made an exceptional start to the season, registering four wins in their last five matches while conceding just one goal.
However, dig a little deeper and one would find that this team is still a work in progress, and has not clicked yet as an attacking force.
In fact, Thomas Frank himself admitted that Tottenham struggled offensively against Villarreal despite overcoming the La Liga side 1-0 in their Champions League opener.

Brighton are favourites to beat Tottenham, according to Opta
Spurs have a perfect away record in the Premier League so far, with two wins from two against Man City and West Ham, scoring five in those games, without conceding a single goal.
However, despite this record, Opta’s supercomputer gives Brighton a 47.4 per cent chance of getting all three points on Saturday, making them comfortably favourites.
Tottenham are handed just a 26.4 per cent chance of winning, with a draw being given a similar chance of 26.2 per cent.
Thomas Frank may fancy his chances of beating Brighton
The Seagulls are a dangerous side and can dominate anyone at home when they are at their best.
However, Fabian Hurzeler’s men have just one way of playing, and the likes of Fulham and Everton have already shown this season that Brighton’s shortcomings can be exposed.
Thomas Frank and his staff will have studied those games closely, and the Dane will come up with a tactical plan that can hurt the South Coast side.
