Tottenham have put up a solid display in the first half of the game against Leicester City and find themselves 1-0 up courtesy of a Davinson Sanchez header. T
The goal came in the 33rd minute when a corner was taken short to Eriksen who swung in a fantastic cross which was met by the Colombian defender.
The game has been quite closely contested with Leicester also having several decent chances in the half. The Foxes have had joy down the left-hand side where Harvey Barnes has got himself in behind Kieran Trippier on several occasions.
Tottenham’s midfield pair of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko have been particularly impressive, winning the ball in defence and starting attacks on several occasions.
There was one controversial incident in the half which way Son Heung-Min booked for diving after he went down from a challenge by Harry Maguire. Replays seemed to show Son getting a touch on the ball before being clearly tripped by the England defender.
Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to the first half display on social media:
Surprised Michael Oliver didn’t book Sanchez for scoring

In time, this little period will probably be shown to have done Harry Winks a lot of good. Spurs' midfield is still ropey, but he's been forced into a position of proper responsibility over the last few months and that can't be bad.

Every other top side gets a pen for that. We get a booking

Half-time thoughts:
Michael Oliver is very bad at the job he is employed to do & I hope he steps on a massive block of Lego when he goes home tonight.

Spurs rather fortunate to be leading at half-time but it’s very much welcomed of course.
Winks and Sissoko showing a lot of fight and composure on the ball.
Defence standing firm but an improved second half is certainly needed. #THFC #COYS #TOTLEI

Fair play to Leicester. So many teams come to us and shut the door. They're having it.
