Swansea v Spurs: Half time player ratings

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Dom Le Roy

Vorm:6- Early scare when Dyer was shot in the back by a sniper. Little to do since the goal Able deputy to Lloris as always

Trippier:6- More of a winger today. Creating a lot down the right. No problem so far

Sanchez:6- Solid. Making a good few bursts from deep. As good as Alderweireld is it’ll be tough for Pochettino to leave him out

Vertonghen:6- Despite the “best” plaudits that go to Toby, Jan rarely puts a foot wrong and today is no exception. Mr Reliable

Davies:6- Same as Trippier, forward well a lot and has defended well too.

Dier:6- Not spectacular. Nothing wrong either. Solid

Sissoko:7- involved a lot. Playing a box to box role and doing it well. Decent show so far from him

Lamela:7- Busy, creative, brilliant, finished superbly.

Eriksen:7- Superb finish from the little magician. His seventh in ten against the swans. Pure Class

Lucas:6- Interchanging with Eriksen and Lamela and has been decent and for a little guy he has a great leap.

Son:6- VAR rearing its ugly head having a goal ruled out for offside. Creating spaces for the trio behind him. So far so good

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Hi Shane, you obviously didn’t watch the same game that I did. Eric Dier together with Eriksen and Lamela were way ahead of the rest. I think that you just put down the first number that comes into your head.
    I would score
    9 Eriksen
    8 Dier and Lamela
7 Vert, Sissoko, Son, Lucas, Vorm
    6 Trippier, Sanches, Davies
