‘Take the interest and listen’ – Zamora claims Spurs midfielder could leave this summer

Bobby Zamora has claimed that Dele Alli could be tempted to leave Spurs if Paris Saint-Germain make another move for him this summer.

Alli was heavily linked with a loan move to PSG during the January transfer window, with the transfer reportedly falling through just before the deadline due to Tottenham’s failure to bring in a replacement (Daily Mail).

Some sources have suggested that Levy’s decision not to move Alli on in January did not go down well with former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho’s sacking certainly seems as though it was good news for Alli, who had struggled to get a run of games under his belt this season when the Portuguese coach was in charge.

Alli has been named in the starting eleven by Ryan Mason in Tottenham’s last two league games against Sheffield United and Leeds, with the England international showing some promising signs in both matches.

However, Zamora believes that the allure of a move to PSG might prove too much for the Spurs star to turn down.

When asked about the speculation linking Alli with a move to Paris, he told Stadium Astro (as relayed by HITC): “If Dele’s getting signals and understands that Pochettino really appreciates and loves the way he plays, that’s something great for a player.

“And if that is true [the rumour], I’m sure Dele will take the interest and listen, if you’re playing alongside Neymar week in, week out, who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?”
