talkSPORT name five potential replacements for Hugo Lloris at Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur fell to yet another defeat last night in the Premier League, making it four from the last five games.

However, yet again the defeat came more from Tottenham errors than it did a world class Liverpool performance.

Hugo Lloris decided not to come out and claim an easy cross in the final moments, then pushing the resulting header into Alderweireld’s shin, forcing an own goal.

This came after Spurs had come from behind and were knocking on the door of a winner themselves.

Lloris has been a fantastic servant for Spurs through the years, and a great captain, but the sporadic mistakes are becoming more and more regular, and many fans have had enough.

While he is still a world class shot stopper, Lloris’ decision making and confidence seems to have evaporated, hence why talkSPORT have listed five potential replacements for the Frenchman.

They believe Lazio’s Thomas Strakosha, FC Cologne’s Timo Horn, Sampdoria’s Emil Audero, Burnley’s Nick Pope, and Tottenham’s very own Paulo Gazzaniga are the front runners to replace Lloris.

Which would you like to see between the sticks next season, or should Lloris be given another chance?
