Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have attended Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Leicester City press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Spurs have had a full week on the training pitch hopefully to rectify the disappointing performances against Brighton and Brentford in which they failed to register a shot on goal, while Leicester were in action last night in their Europa League semi-final first leg against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.
Spurs confirmed earlier this week that Oliver Skipp has become the second player to be ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a pubis injury, joining Matt Doherty on the sidelines. Japhet Tanganga also remains a long-term absentee.
Conte revealed that Sergio Reguilon has now joined the injury list as the left-back is suffering from groin pain (Football London). Fortunately, Ryan Sessegnon recently returned from an injury spell of his own.
Sergio Reguilon is out with a groin injury. “If you ask me how much time he needs (to be fit) I don’t know.” #THFC
